This is my entry into the Beyond the Pale contest on FF.

I am a vampire without the sense of smell. A joke; a sick twisted anomaly, and ostracized from others of my kind. I hide in my dark, tiny cottage, and research the fault in my system. I will find a cure...

It is very dark. Very out of character, but very fitting with the taboo theme of the contest.
